Relay of the Gods : Bali, 17 January 2027
Relay of the Gods is a self-supported team relay across Bali covering 160 kilometers. Each team consists of five runners who share the full route by alternating an active runner while the rest travel ahead in their own support vehicle. There are no fixed leg lengths; teams decide how far each person runs and when to switch.
The event follows a single official shared route on public roads and paths. Teams must keep one active runner at a time, ensure the active runner carries the event tracker, and choose safe places to stop for exchanges. Teams are responsible for their own support vehicle, food, drinks, accommodation, and transport. Roads remain open and all participants must respect traffic rules, local customs, and communities along the route.
Registration is by pre-registration between 19 and 23 October 2026; up to 50 teams will be selected and pre-registration does not guarantee a place. Entry fee is IDR 3,000,000 per team of five. The entry package includes event shirts for all five runners, use of a tracker during the event, access to the afterparty, and the first drinks there. Accommodation, participant transport, and food and drinks during the relay are not included.
