REDLINE 1800 : Birchwood Automotive, Winnipeg
REDLINE 1800 is an evening running event held at Birchwood Automotive (3965 Portage Ave) in Winnipeg on September 18, 2026. The event presents two race formats and uses a closed course known as the Birchwood Auto Race Loop with concrete lanes, LED lighting, a live DJ, and smoke machines.
Teams compete in a relay format and individual runners can enter a time trial. Relay teams are composed of four people and race in bracketed heats, with the top teams advancing to finals. Bracket rules require that one or more team members identify as female or non-binary to promote balanced teams. The event limits entries to a maximum of 50 teams and mentions roughly 200 racers on course.
Participants receive a branded event shirt, a commemorative race bib, pulled pork tacos from CRAVE Kitchen, other snacks and drinks during the night, and a surprise finisher gift. Several running brands are listed as partners for the night, including ON, New Balance, Brooks, ASICS, and Saucony.
