Redcar Running Festival
The Redcar Running Festival takes place on 27 Sep 2026 at Zetland Park, The Crescent, Redcar TS10 3AX. The event is organised by New Marske Harriers AC and runs under Licence #31277. Event status is open and places are limited for each race.
The festival includes the following races
- Half Marathon
- Zetland 10km
- 3km Young Athletes Race plus 3km Fun Run for all ages
All races are held on tarmac roads closed to vehicles. The Half Marathon, 10km and 3km courses are certified by AUKCM. Chip timing is used for all races and results are published via the organiser’s partner results service.
Entry and kit information is as follows. Half Marathon and 10km entrants receive a T shirt and a medal. 3km finishers receive a medal only and there is no T shirt for that event. Race numbers must be collected on the day or during a limited collection period the day before; numbers will not be posted. The 3km Young Athletes Race requires competitors to be in the Under 13 or Under 15 age groups and registered with England Athletics to be eligible as young athlete entries; other entrants are classed as fun run entries. Minimum age for the 3km events is 4 on the day.
A separate T shirt only option is available, with a 2026 design referencing the local Redcar Blast Furnace and the club’s 40th year. Entry limits and closing dates apply for each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
