Red White Glow 5K
The Red White Glow 5K is scheduled for June 13, 2026 at The Oaks at River's Edge golf course in Pontiac, Illinois, located at 429 Elks Club Road. The event includes a run and a walk around the golf course at night.

The 5K is a chip timed event. All registered participants in both distances receive a t-shirt and glow necklaces. All 5K finishers receive a medal and there are age group awards for the 5K. Registration opens March 13, 2026 and closes June 12, 2026. Registration fees are $35.00 for the 5K and $30.00 for the 1.5 mile walk.
The course will be lit with glowsticks; flashlights and headlamps are recommended to improve visibility. There will be a Flag Day ceremony and an awards ceremony after the event. Music will be provided on the patio and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
The event benefits two charities: Broken Together, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on improving physical and mental health in the Veteran community through adventure and endurance sports in a team environment, and the Pontiac Elks Lodge 1019 Veterans Fund, which serves Veteran causes in Livingston County, Illinois.
