8th Annual Red, White & Blue 5K Run/Walk : North Myrtle Beach
The event takes place on July 3, 2026, at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, SC. It includes a 5K run/walk, a one-mile walk, and a short kids' dash. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue and may dress in costume. The one-mile walk and the kids' dash are untimed events.

Course rules note that animals are not permitted on the race course; ADA-recognized service animals are allowed and participants with a service animal should inform staff at bib pickup. Baby joggers, strollers, skateboards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles and other wheeled devices are not allowed; ADA-recognized wheelchairs and mobility aids are permitted with prior notice at bib pickup. There is no water stop on course.
Race items and logistics include participant shirts (while supplies last) and medals for the 5K and 1 Mile, race bibs for all events, a finisher gift for the kids' dash, and an option to purchase a kids' t-shirt in limited quantities. Registration is available online only and closes on July 3. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before and the morning of the event. Parking and public restrooms are available at locations around Barefoot Landing. Awards are given for overall and age-group placings; the one-mile walk and kids' dash do not receive awards.
