The Red Shoe Shuffle in Little Rock is a charity running event supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas and North Louisiana. The event uses paperless registration and dynamic bib assignment. Timing is chip based and results are available immediately via SMS as preliminary times. Automatic finish photos are captured and uploaded for free viewing. A results kiosk and live scrolling results display are available after finishing. Reusable shoe or hip timing tags are used; participants are asked to attach tags as instructed and return them at the results kiosk for recycling.
Registrants who meet the T shirt deadline of April 10 are guaranteed a T shirt and swag bag; extra T shirts are available on race day while supplies last. Children six and under are free but do not receive a swag bag, T shirt, or race bib. The race provides post race beverages and snacks, games, music, volunteers along the route, and a prize for the most uniquely dressed runner.
