Red Shoe Shuffle 5K Run/Walk
The Red Shoe Shuffle is an annual event held at Two Rivers Park in Little Rock, Arkansas. This event supports the Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas & North Louisiana. Participants can choose from several event categories:
- 5 km Run or Walk
- 1 mile Super Hero Fun Run for children 10 and under
- 5 km for youth ages 7-17
- Virtual Participant option
The course utilizes chip timing with both a chip start and finish. Participants receive preliminary results via SMS immediately after finishing. The event also features automatic photo capture at the finish line, which is available for free download, and a finish line video uploaded later in the day. Reusable timing tags are used at this race and are to be returned after the event.
Registered participants who meet the T-shirt deadline receive a swag bag and a commemorative T-shirt. For those registering later, shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Finisher medals are also awarded to participants. Beyond the race itself, the event grounds feature beverages, post-race snacks, games, and music. Volunteers are stationed along the route to assist runners. Prizes are awarded for specific categories, such as the most uniquely dressed runner.
Registration is paperless and features dynamic bib assignment. Children aged 6 and under may participate for free, though this registration tier does not include a swag bag, T-shirt, or official race bib. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
