Red Feather Trail Jamboree
The Red Feather Trail Jamboree is a multi-day trail running event held in September 2027 at the Ben Delatour Scout Ranch near Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Courses run on private scout camp land and adjacent National Forest trails through forests, meadows, streams and rocky sections.
Distances
- 50 Mile approximately 8,500 ft vertical gain
- 50K approximately 4,200 ft vertical gain
- Half Marathon approximately 1,700 ft vertical gain
Course surface is primarily singletrack (about 70 to 80 percent) with the remainder on dirt roads. Reported elevations range from about 7,350 ft to over 10,800 ft, with average elevations listed for each distance. The 50K includes a more technical opening section of about 10 miles. The 50 Mile route links five trail systems and includes one intermediate cut-off at the Granite Ridge aid station (the 50K point). The 50K and Half Marathon have no intermediate cut-offs and finishers who complete the course are recognized.
On-course aid stations provide a sports drink, water, salty snacks, fruit, sweets and soda, with gluten free and vegan alternatives held for those who request them. Event facilities at the ranch include campgrounds and rentable cabins, a dining hall community meal program and an on-site shower house. Wildlife in the area includes moose, raptors, elk, mule deer, black bears and mountain lions. Registration is capped at 500 total entries.
