Onesie Dash and Mini Dash
The Onesie Dash and Mini Dash takes place in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, at 1078 Ramona Drive. The route begins and ends at The Tavern at Red Feather Lakes and runs in and around the local area.
The event offers these distances:
- 1 mile run, jog, or walk
- 200 yard walk (Mini Dash)
The Mini Dash involves carrying a mug filled with water on the out-and-back to the dam; the mug is replaced with hot cocoa after the run. The fastest participant who completes the course without spilling receives a free additive of their choice for the hot cocoa.
Participants may wear onesies and may layer clothing for extra warmth. The finish is at The Tavern, where there is a hot cocoa and s'mores bar. After the event there is a short walk into town, about three minutes, for the village lighting and a visit from Santa. Live music is presented at The Tavern and beverages are available. The registration fee is $28.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
