Event Information
The Red Cedar Foxes Trot is a 5K race happening on Saturday, March 7, 2026. It is the 15th annual event held at Red Cedar Elementary in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Event Details
There are three registration categories for the 5K:
- Red Cedar Elementary Student 5K - free.
- 5K Open Registration - $25.
- 5K BCSD Student Discount - $15.
Open registration is available to participants aged 7 to 90. Registration closes on March 4, 2026.
Additional Activities
A separate, non-competitive Kiddie Fun Run of 0.3 miles will also take place. No registration is required for this event, and it is open only to children aged 6 and under.
Awards
A medal ceremony for age groups will follow the race. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group, as well as to the first overall male and female finishers. There is also a separate award for the first overall Red Cedar male and female finisher. A stroller division is included.
Logistics
Packet and race shirt pick-up is available on Friday, March 6, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the school. Participants can also pick up their packets on Saturday morning. There is no race-day registration. A race shirt is included for all participants who pre-register before February 2nd. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
