Red Brick Run 5K
The Red Brick Run is a campus road race presented by Miami Recreation at Miami University. The main event is a 5K held on Sunday, April 25, 2027, with the course starting in front of Millett Hall and routing through the historic red brick core of the Oxford campus.
Race services include hydration stations along the course, a Red Brick Award, and a post-race award ceremony. All entries receive a Red Brick Run T-shirt. Entry fees are listed as $30 for early registration by April 23 at 5 p.m. and $35 for late registration.
The published route begins at Millett Assembly Hall, follows Talawanda Road and High Street, turns onto Campus Avenue and Spring Street, crosses S Patterson Avenue onto Cook Field, runs along Cook Field and East Quad, passes the west wall of Dorsey at the two-mile mark, and returns via High Street and Talawanda Road to Millett Assembly Hall.
Two companion events use the same course during the main race. One is a memorial run tied to a foundation and a scholarship for a Harrison High School student; proceeds support that scholarship. The other is a Paws for a Cause run that supports a local organization focused on socializing and raising service dogs in training and related community work.
