Recovery Rocks 5K/10K Run & Easter Egg Hunt
The event takes place on April 4, 2026 at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park in Springfield, Missouri. It includes two distance events and a separate activity for children.

An Easter egg hunt for children aged 12 and under follows the runs. The Easter Bunny is scheduled to be present for photos with children. The event includes music at the start and finish areas and encourages participants to wear rock band costumes.
Proceeds from the event support individuals on their addiction recovery journey. Participants who register by March 1 are guaranteed a Recovery Rocks t-shirt and a finisher’s medal.
Overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K will receive a guitar trophy. Additional medals will be awarded to top finishers in each male and female age group: 12 & Under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 & Up.
The organizing group Better Life in Recovery lists its mission as to deal hope and foster dignity through community, connection, and celebration.
