RECONNECT 4 Autism Color Run
The RECONNECT 4 Autism Color Run returns to Corinth, Mississippi, for its 12th annual edition. This community event focuses on promoting awareness and acceptance for autism in North Mississippi and the surrounding Tri-state area. The gathering serves as a fundraiser to support local families through sensory-friendly activities and community programs.
The event features the following distances:
- 5 km Walk/Run
- 1 mile Walk/Run
- Virtual 5 km or 1 mile
Participants can choose between competitive involvement or a leisurely pace. The event includes a dedicated category for participants with autism, which offers complimentary registration. A virtual participation option is also available for those who cannot attend in person, with race materials shipped directly to them.
The course is located at Corinth City Park. Registered participants receive a race packet containing a dedicated event shirt, a swag bag with items from sponsors, and color powder to be used during the run. On the day preceding the run, the park hosts a packet pickup session accompanied by music.
Groups and teams are encouraged to participate. Teams consisting of five or more members qualify for registration discounts, and the largest registered team receives recognition on the event apparel.
