Rebel & Realm Marathon : Norfolk trail marathon, 10 April 2027
The Rebel & Realm Marathon is the inaugural trail marathon in Norfolk, scheduled for 10 April 2027. The course combines the Boudicca Way and Angles Way with local footpaths and is largely traffic free, with marshals at major road crossings. The route passes through Scole, Brockdish, Harleston and Pulham Market.
Registration, start and finish are at Hope Church, Vinces Road, Diss IP22 4HQ, a five minute walk from Diss train station. Paid and free parking are available nearby. The event is open to runners and walkers and forms part of the Boghopper Tankard qualification and a new Marathon Series Medal.
Facilities and services include GPS tracking and chip timing, three aid stations with food and drink, one water point, first aid services, finish food and drinks, and a unique finisher medal. Prizes are awarded to the first three finishers in both the Female and Male/Open categories. A T shirt is offered for purchase. The event is licensed by the Association of Running Clubs and held under UK Athletics rules; the permit number is to be confirmed.
