Rebel & Realm Trail Marathon
The Rebel & Realm Trail Marathon is the inaugural edition taking place in Norfolk on Saturday 10 April 2027. It is a new race in the Boghopper series and is described as the organiser's third marathon.
The route combines parts of the Boudicca Way and the Angles Way with local footpaths. The course is largely traffic free; major road crossings will be marshalled. The route passes through Scole, Brockdish, Harleston and Pulham Market.
Registration, start and finish are at Hope Church, Vinces Road, Diss IP22 4HQ, a five minute walk from Diss train station. There is parking near the start and finish. Checkpoints offering snacks and drinks are located at Brockdish, Harleston and Pulham Market.
The event is GPS tracked and timed and a GPX file is provided. Finishers are offered a light meal and drinks. A T shirt is available to purchase. First Aid services are present and the event welcomes both runners and walkers. Prizes are offered for first, second and third finishers in both Female and Male/Open categories. The race is described as beginner friendly and supporters are welcome.
The event is licensed by the Association of Running Clubs and held under UK Athletics Rules; the permit number is to be confirmed. The course has not been measured by a UKA approved course measurer, so distances are approximate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
