About the race
The REALTORS® Hope for Hunger Bubble Run is a community running and walking event held at Kereiakes Park Greenways in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It is organized by the REALTORS® Association of Southern Kentucky and supports REALTORS® Hope for Hunger, a local initiative that has worked on food insecurity for 15 years.
The event is the 3rd annual Bubble Run and lists two course options:
- 5K Run
- 2K Walk
The organizer states a goal of providing 1,000,000 servings of food to local families. Registration pricing information is provided: an early rate of $25 through August 14, with a higher fee of $35 after that date. Early registrants receive a race shirt and a goodie bag. Children age 12 and under and walkers age 60 and older are listed as participating free of charge.
The run proceeds through Kereiakes Park Greenways, located at 1220 Fairview Avenue, Bowling Green, KY 42103. The event materials note partnerships with local businesses, volunteers, and community organizations that help provide food to school resource centers, food banks, and families across South Central Kentucky.
