FROZEN 4 Mile Run & 2 Mile Walk
The event takes place on January 2, 2027 at 885 Mt. Olivet Road, Bowling Green, Kentucky. It includes separate walking and running events held on the park's gravel perimeter track.
Distances
- 2 Miles walk, single-loop around the park perimeter.
- 4 Miles run, two laps around the park perimeter.
The 2 mile event is strictly walking only; participants must not run or jog and one foot must remain in contact with the ground at all times. Both courses use a mostly flat gravel surface that provides solid footing in January.
The registration fee for each event is $40. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at a location to be determined and on race day at the venue during a morning pickup window. To guarantee preferred apparel sizes at packet pickup, registration should be completed by December 11.
Awards for the 4 mile run include overall first through third place male and female, overall masters 40 to 49, grandmasters 50 to 59, senior grandmasters 60 and over, and top three male and female in multiple age groups from 8 and under through 75 and over. The 2 mile walk awards overall male and female and the top five male and female. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
