RCR Gobbler Turkey Trot

Event overview

The RCR Gobbler Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. The event is hosted by Rock City Running at the Market Place Shopping Center, 11121 N. Rodney Parham Rd., Suite 37B. It is presented as a free family fun event that collects canned goods, non-perishable items, or cash for the Arkansas Foodbank. The program includes Tom’s Tiny Trot for children ages 0-8, which runs on a closed parking lot loop and awards each child a finishers medal. Santa will be on-site to collect donations. Pets are allowed on a short leash and strollers are welcome on all courses. Water stations will be available after the run.

Participation and course details

Participants choose from three stroller-friendly road routes that start and finish at Rock City Running. Limited traffic control will be in place, and participants are responsible for road crossings. The event is described as not a race and includes pre-registration drawings for those who register beforehand. Event shirts will be available for purchase for $25 adults and $25 youth. Donations may cover event costs and food drop-offs can be made at Rock City Running up to one week before the event. Items needed by the foodbank include cornbread/stuffing mix, canned meat, cranberry sauce, canned vegetables, mashed potato mix, gravy, canned sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, canned fruit, and canned pumpkin.
