Rattlesnake Dick is a trail running event presented by North Fork Clothing in Cool, California on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The event offers multiple distances and all races start and finish at the Cool Staging Area (7200 Saint Florian Court, Cool, CA 95614).

Course and logistics
Course elevation changes are provided for each distance: the 50K has 4,700 ft gain and loss, the 25K has 2,100 ft gain and loss, and the 10K has 1,060 ft gain and loss. Each course is described as hiker, back-of-the-pack friendly. Trekking poles are allowed. Professional timing chips and live tracking/results are provided by UltraLive.net. Packet pick-up is available the day before at the Placer County Visitors Bureau in Auburn and race-morning at the race start. Parking fees are not included in registration; a Golden Poppy Pass must be displayed or a day use pass purchased ($10 exact cash). Volunteers will direct parking to the Day Use Lot or overflow on Haul Road.
Aid stations and awards
Aid stations for the 50K are at mile markers 3.1, 7.7, 10.2, 16.2 (turnaround), 22.2, 24.7, 29.3 and the finish. The 25K has aid at miles 3.1, 7.7 (turnaround), 12.3 and the finish. The 10K has an aid at mile 3.1 (turnaround) and the finish. Full or water-only designations are noted for specific stations. All participants receive a North Fork Clothing race shirt and finishers under 10 hours receive a weighted finisher medallion.
