Event overview
The Raquette River Marathon, Half, 10k, and 5k take place in Potsdam, NY on April 4, 2026. Races start and finish at the Potsdam Arena, with the course running along the Raquette River on River Rd. The venue address is 43 Pine St, Potsdam, NY 13676. Entry fees listed by event are:
- Marathon - $60; open to ages 18-100.
- Half Marathon - $45; open to ages 18-100.
- 10k - $35; open to ages 13-100.
- 5k Fun Run - $25.
Parking is available at the Pine Street Arena.
Course, services, and awards
The course is USATF certified and designated as a Boston Qualifier. The route includes rolling hills. Aid stations with water and sports drink are provided approximately every 1.5 miles and at the start/finish. Restrooms are available at the start/finish and portable toilets are placed near the half and marathon turn-around points. Pre-registered participants receive a swag bag containing bib and pins, a t-shirt, sports drink, granola, fruit, and other items. Check-in is inside the arena by the finish line. Half marathon and marathon finishers receive medals, and 1st-3rd overall male and female podium awards are given for those races. Cash awards for 2026 are planned and are expected to be $150, $100, and $50 for 1st through 3rd, for both men and women, subject to change.
