Event overview
The Raptor Run takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Anniston Museum of Natural History, 800 Museum Drive, Anniston, AL 36206. The event includes the 5K Raptor Run and the Dino Dash Fun Run. The 5K course runs from the museum through Museum Drive and Lagarde Park. Museum Drive will be closed on race day. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and in age-group divisions for male and female: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
Registration and logistics
Standard registration fees are $30 for the Raptor Run 5K and $15 for the Dino Dash Fun Run, plus credit card processing. Race day registration fees are $35 for the 5K and $20 for the fun run. Price increases occur after April 2, 2026; the last day to pre-register is Thursday, April 2. Registering by Monday, March 9 guarantees a T-RIFFIC Raptor Run t-shirt. Packet pick-up is available Friday, April 3 at the Anniston Museum of Natural History and on race morning. Participants are asked to park at the Anniston Star building or the Calhoun County Health Department; City of Anniston shuttles will be available to transport participants before and after the race.
