Raptor Run
The Raptor Run takes place on April 4, 2026 in Anniston, Alabama. The event is organized at the Anniston Museum of Natural History, 800 Museum Drive, with a course that runs along Museum Drive and through Lagarde Park. Museum Drive will be closed on the event day from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. Participants are asked to use parking at the Anniston Star building or the Calhoun County Health Department; city shuttles will transport registrants before and after the event.

Registration fees listed in the event information are $30 for the Raptor Run 5K and $15 for the Dino Dash Fun Run, with higher fees for race day registration. Register by Monday, March 9 to guarantee a Raptor Run 5K t shirt. Dino Dash registrants may purchase a t shirt for $10 at checkout. AM&G members can receive a $5 discount code from the organizer.
Packet pick up is available Friday, April 3 at the museum and on race morning. The last day to pre register is Friday, April 3. Race day registration is available for higher fees and ends before the events begin.
Awards for the 5K include top three overall male and female and age group awards for male and female in standard age brackets up to 80 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
