Randolph Pack the Pantry 5K
The 6th annual Randolph Pack the Pantry 5K is a holiday run/walk hosted by the Randolph Runners to benefit the Friendly Food Pantry of Randolph. The event takes place in Randolph, Massachusetts, with the Randolph Intergenerational Community Center (RICC) at 128 Pleasant Street serving as the race site. Chip timing is provided by Frontline Running. The first 200 registrants receive a technical t-shirt. Awards include prizes for the top overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers, and ribbon recognition for the top three males and females in each age group.
Event details and logistics
The course starts and finishes in the RICC parking lot and follows local streets including Pleasant Street, North Main Street, Orchard Street, Bartlett Road, Tangen Street (the only left turn on the course), Oak Street, Pine Street, Truman Drive and North Street. There is a water stop on Oak Street. The course is marked with cones and signs and is guided by volunteers. The event collects non-perishable food donations for the Friendly Food Pantry; suggested items include canned meats, vegetables, pasta, rice, peanut butter, cereals, soup, beans, granola bars and canned fruit. Enter the RICC parking lot by North Street (GPS: 240 North Street). Overflow parking is available at Amramp, 358 North Street. Packet pickup is at RICC on race day. Registration fees vary by date.
