Rally for a Cure
Rally for a Cure is a community fundraising event held on October 24, 2026 at Kennedale High School in Kennedale, Texas. The event is organized by Kennedale High School, the Key Club, and local community members to raise funds for a Kennedale High School teacher who is battling breast cancer. The event includes running and walking options and is open to all ages.
Participants may choose between these distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Registration fees are the same for both distances: $20 through October 1, 2026; $25 from October 2 through October 23, 2026; and $30 on race day. All registered participants who complete either event receive a custom Rally for Bond finisher medal and a race bib. There is also a Donate Only option for supporters who cannot attend; suggested donation amounts include $10, $25, $50, and $100. Donate Only supporters are not registered participants and do not receive a bib or medal.
The event schedule includes packet pickup and check-in, the two running events, and a finisher celebration following the races. Organizers note opportunities for additional donations during registration and community involvement from students, staff, families, alumni, and local businesses.
