Raintree 4th of July 5K and Fun Run
The event on July 4, 2027 takes place at Raintree Golf and Event Center in Uniontown, Ohio. It is the second race in the 2027 Green Great Eight Race Series. The series brings together eight local 5K races to raise money for nonprofits and charities in the City of Green, with all proceeds from this event designated for First Tee of Akron.
Two distances are offered:
- 5K route around the Raintree Golf Course and surrounding neighborhood
- 1 mile Fun Run using parts of the golf course and nearby paths
Registration opens July 12, 2026 and closes April 30, 2027. Posted prices for the event show a range of fees: the 5K is listed at thirty to forty dollars and the 1 mile Fun Run is listed at ten to fifteen dollars. Packet pickup is available on race day at the Raintree Golf Course pavilion.
Prizes include Acme Apple pies for overall and age group winners. Additional door prizes listed include golf passes from Raintree Golf and Event Center that cover eighteen holes of golf and a cart.
