Rainier Raid, Packwood WA
Rainier Raid is an adventure race held in Packwood, Washington. Founded in 2024, the event is organized by Bend Racing in partnership with CrossFit Fort Vancouver. The race is designated as a USARA and AR World Series regional championship.
The event offers two race divisions: 36 hour premier division and 12 hour novice division. The course includes scrambling, single-track mountain biking, and class 2 white water sections, and organizers list additional disciplines and ratings: mountain biking 6/10, trekking 5/10, endurance 9/10, navigation 7/10, canyoneering 3/10, and whitewater packrafting 3/10. The race follows standard AR World Series mandatory equipment requirements. Entrants may have options to skip stages.
The published entry price is $325 per person. Veterans and Canadian participants receive a 20% discount. Winners receive a free entry to USARA Nationals and the Rainier Raid Trophy. A newsletter update is scheduled to be released about two months before the event. The race location is Packwood, WA and the event dates are June 5 to June 7, 2026.
