Rainbow Run (Mayfield)
Rainbow Run (Mayfield) is a colored powder 5K event taking place on June 6, 2026, at Highland Heights Community Park, 5905 Wilson Mills Road, Cleveland, OH 44143. All proceeds benefit University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. The course includes color stations where participants encounter colored powder along the route. Participants receive a custom race t-shirt and post-race refreshments.
There are three registration categories with different fees and deadlines: 5K run, 5K walk, and a Rainbow employee 5K category. Pre-registration fees are listed as $30 for the 5K run, $25 for the 5K walk, and $25 for the Rainbow employee category. Race day registration fees are listed at $35 for the 5K run, $30 for the 5K walk, and $25 for the Rainbow employee category. Patients of Rainbow and children under five are admitted free. Mailed entries must be received by Monday, June 1; checks are payable to HERMES and mailed to Hermes Sports & Events.
Timing and awards are provided for the run. The 5K run is chip timed using MyLaps BibTag technology; the 5K walk is untimed. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers, and to the top male and female in each of these age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.
