Event details
Enigma Running stages the Railway Run and Formula One events on 18 and 19 July 2026 at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes, MK7 8HP. The courses use laps of Caldecotte Lake. Distances on each day are:
- Marathon: 7½ laps of Caldecotte Lake (plus a 50k option)
- Half marathon: 3½ laps of Caldecotte Lake
Course maps and further route information are provided at the event location. The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules.
Entry, limits and support
Entry fees listed are £39.99 for each marathon and £36.99 for each half marathon. All participants must be 18 years or older on the day of the event. There is a hard time limit of 7:00 hours for marathon finishers; anyone finishing after this will be recorded as DNF. The half marathon has a 4:00 hour limit. Finishers receive a bespoke medal.
Race support includes a starter, timekeeper and race referee. There is a large pub car park at the venue and water and toilets are available every lap of the lake course. Participants are expected to wear suitable clothing and footwear. The organiser’s cancellation policy does not allow refunds; entries may be deferred under specified conditions.
