Railway Run & Formula One - 18th & 19th July 2026
This is a two day running event held at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Bletcham Way, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes, MK7 8HP. The venue is about 150 yds off the A5 and 3 miles from the M1.
Each day features a marathon and a half marathon. The marathons are run clockwise around Caldecotte Lake. Route descriptions are given out at the event and mandatory race briefings take place before each race.
Distances
- Marathon: 7½ laps of Caldecotte Lake, clockwise.
- Half Marathon: 3½ laps of Caldecotte Lake.
- 50k option: Available on the Saturday marathon.
There are fixed time limits: marathons have a hard limit of 7:00 hours with finishers over that time recorded as DNF, and half marathons have a 4:00 hour limit. All finishers receive a unique bespoke medal. Race support includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, a large pub car park, and water and toilets available every lap of the lake course. Participants are required to wear suitable clothing and footwear. The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules.
Entry fees are listed per event as follows: marathon £39.99 and half marathon £36.99. Refunds are not available; entries may be deferred or transferred under the organiser's published policy and deferred entries must be used within 18 months.
