Event overview
Enigma Running stages the Railway Run and Formula One events on 18 and 19 July 2026 at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Bletcham Way, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes, MK7 8HP. The site is about 150 yards off the A5 and 3 miles from the M1. Race briefings are mandatory ten minutes before each race and the route description is issued at the venue.
Race details and entry
Distances offered:
- Marathon - 7.5 scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake, run clockwise; 50k option available.
- Half marathon - 3.5 scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake.
There is a hard time limit of 7:00 hours for each marathon; finishers over this limit are recorded as DNF. The half marathon has a 4:00 hour limit. All finishers receive a medal. Race support includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, a large pub car park, and water and toilets on every lap of the lake course. Events are held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules.
Entry fees are stated as £39.99 for a marathon and £36.99 for a half marathon. The organiser does not issue refunds. Entries can be deferred up to seven days before the event and transferred to another Enigma event that is open to entries; deferred entries must be used within 18 months. Participants must be 18 or over, declare they are medically fit, accept the risks of participation, and accept the organisers’ liability limits.
