Event Overview
The Raider Run is a community-focused fundraising event held in North Canton, Ohio, at Southgate Park. This event serves to support the Junior ROTC program at Green High School and various local veteran organizations. Course Information
The event offers different participation options across mixed terrain:
- 3K Terrain Run with Obstacles: A course through Southgate Park featuring 12 obstacles.
- 1 Mile Veterans Honor Walk: A dedicated walking path to honor military veterans.
- Combined Event: An option to participate in both the 3K obstacle run and the 1 mile walk.
The 3K obstacle course concludes with a 150-foot slip-n-slide. This portion of the event is designed for all ages, and accommodations are provided for participants who are unable to complete specific obstacles.
Location and Charity
The activities take place at 5300 Massillon Road within Southgate Park. A portion of the proceeds from the walking event is directed to veteran support groups, including the Serving Area Military (SAM) Center and the Veterans Advisory Commission of Green.
