Road Bourbon Chase
The Road Bourbon Chase is a team road relay across Kentucky held October 2-3, 2026, running from Clermont, KY to Lexington, KY. The course covers about 206 miles through rolling Bluegrass hills and countryside with an elevation profile described as rolling hills. The event route is subject to change.
Teams run in different formats and durations. Standard teams are 12 runners over two days and one night with a listed price of $2,095. Ultra teams are 6 runners over two days and one night with a listed price of $1,200. Sprint teams are 6 runners over one day with a listed price of $700. The listed average miles per runner is 17.2.
Major course points include a start at Jim Beam Distilling Company, an exchange at Makers Mark Distillery, an exchange at the town of Danville, and a finish at Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company. Sprint teams start at Exchange 24 at Anderson High School. Major exchanges and the finish host partner activations, demonstrations, music, dancing, and bourbon sampling; the after party is hosted by Town Branch Bourbon.
The event notes pop up tastings and multiple distillery stops along the route. Finish line bourbon samplings include Yellowstone Limestone Branch, M.B. Roland, Lexington Brewing & Distilling Company, Makers Mark, Blue Grass Distillers, Jim Beam, BarrelHouse Distillery, Hartfield and Company, and Wild Turkey.
