Rage in the Sage Duathlon
Rage in the Sage Duathlon takes place at Kiona Vineyards and Winery in Benton City (44612 N. Sunset Rd). The event follows a run-bike-run format on gravel and dirt roads that surround the vineyards and nearby properties.
The first run covers cross country terrain on gravel and dirt roads around Kiona. The cycle leg is conducted on mountain bikes and consists of several loops through Kiona Vineyards and KS Vineyards, continuing on Artz Road and Sunset Road back to the transition area. After racking the bike participants repeat the opening run to reach the finish.

Course training rides are scheduled on April 4, April 11, April 18, and April 25, starting from Kiona Vineyards at noon. Packet pickup is available the day before at Atomic Ale Brewpub in Richland and on race morning at the race site. Athlete entries are limited to 300 and registration is online only. Entry fee is $45 through April 20 and increases to $60 afterward; online registration closes April 28. USA Triathlon licensing is required; a One Day License may be purchased during registration for nonmembers. A short sleeve tech shirt is available for an additional fee if pre-ordered. Chip timing will record splits and finish times and must be returned at the finish to avoid a lost chip fee.
