Race to the Sunset
Race to the Sunset is a community running event in Belle River, Ontario, on June 5, 2026. The course includes a loop through Lakeview Park, then heads east along Lakeview Drive before returning west to finish with a view of the sunset over Lake St. Clair. The route therefore combines a park loop and an out-and-back segment on Lakeview Drive.
This is the first edition of the Race to the Sunset in Belle River. Local vendors are listed as part of the event, and finishers receive medals at the finish line. The first 100 registrants are scheduled to receive technical shirts.
