Race to Raise: Pinedale Half Marathon
The Race to Raise is the culminating event of the Foundation 23 fundraising campaign, held in Pinedale on September 19, 2026. The event offers multiple race options and supports nonprofits in Sublette County.
- Half Marathon - Out-and-back to Fremont Lake campground, mostly paved roads and bike paths.
- 10K - Starts at Fremont Lake Lookout, initial downhill then a gradual descent back to town.
- 5K - Through town, then the bike path toward Willow Lake Road with a loop in Trails End.
- One Mile Fun Run - One mile on town streets, starts and ends at Rendezvous Pointe.
Five dollars from each registration is directed to a Sublette County nonprofit chosen by the registrant. All races meet and end at Rendezvous Pointe. No bikes, strollers, or dogs are allowed on the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K courses; bikes and strollers are allowed in the one mile fun run.
Pinedale is a high altitude location at about 7,185 feet, with roughly 300 feet of additional elevation gain on the course. Male and female winners in the half marathon, 10K, and 5K are recognized during the community barbecue and receive a $100 certificate to donate to a participating nonprofit. Local nonprofits will be present at Rendezvous Pointe, race merchandise will be available, and a free community barbecue concludes the day. The event does not offer refunds in case of cancellation.
