Race The Night Towcester
Race The Night Towcester is a four hour endurance running event held at Towcester Racecourse in Northamptonshire. Participants aim to complete as many 2.7 km laps of a closed-loop circuit as possible within the allotted time. The route follows the original racing circuit and features undulating terrain and natural surface variations; the course is wide with clear passing opportunities.
Entry categories include solo runners, duo relays (teams of 2) and team relays (teams of 4). Relay rules require only one runner per team on course at a time, exchanges at a designated area by passing a baton at the end of a lap, and electronic chip timing that records every lap. Winners in each category are determined by total laps completed.
The event village is set inside the enclosed racecourse and provides spectator visibility, on-site parking, a licensed bar, street food vendors, live leaderboard and event photography. Included items are a finisher’s medal, chip timing, official photography and optional finisher t-shirt; category prizes and free after-party entry are also listed. Entry fees are provided with standard and early bird pricing and running club discounts are available.
