Race The Night Towcester - 4 Hour Endurance Run
Race The Night Towcester is a 4-hour lap-based endurance event held at Towcester Racecourse. The event takes place on a 2.7 km closed-loop course that follows the original horse racing circuit. The route features undulating terrain and natural surface variations, with wide paths and space for overtaking.
The event offers three entry categories: solo, duo relay and team relay for four runners. Winners in each category are determined by the greatest number of laps completed within the time limit. Relay rules require only one runner per team on course at a time, baton exchanges at the end of a lap, and chip timing that records every lap automatically. Teams may be male, female or mixed, and matching kits or fancy dress are encouraged.
The race village is set inside the racecourse and includes live leaderboard and chip timing, a DJ, chill-out and social zones, event photography, street food vendors and a licensed bar. Included items listed by the organiser are a finisher’s medal, optional finisher’s t-shirt, category prizes, free spectator entry and free on-site parking. Headphones are permitted on the closed course.
