Race The Night Towcester
Race The Night Towcester is a four hour endurance running event held at Towcester Racecourse in Northamptonshire. Runners aim to complete as many laps of the 2.7 km closed-loop course as possible. The route follows the original racing circuit and features undulating terrain with natural variations underfoot; it is not technical but not completely smooth either. The course is fully closed with wide paths and space to pass, and the venue includes a central race village and spectator viewing areas.
Participants can enter as a solo runner, a duo relay, or a team of four. Runners may complete laps continuously, take short breaks between laps, step off course to refuel, and swap runners in relay categories. Relay rules require only one team member on the course at a time, exchanges at the end of the lap with a baton, and chip timing records every lap. Winners in each category are determined by total laps completed. Entry options include early bird pricing for solo, duo and team entries.
Event services and amenities include a finisher’s medal, live leaderboard and chip timing, official event photography, DJ and evening atmosphere, chill-out zones, category prizes, optional finisher’s t-shirt, free spectator entry and free on-site parking. Street food vendors and a licensed bar are available on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
