Race for the Roses
The Race for the Roses is scheduled for April 25, 2026, at Queeny Park, Smith Pavilion in Ballwin, Missouri. The event includes a timed 5K run and an approximate 1K family walk for children and families. All proceeds will go to Shriners Hospital, St. Louis. The event benefits the Moolah Shrine Clowns' Red Sneaker Program, which provides shoes for children in burn units. Moolah clowns will be present to entertain and make balloon animals.

5K participants receive a free race shirt. Family walk participants can purchase a shirt during registration. Children ages 12 and under have a reduced registration fee for the 5K.
Packets are available for pickup on Friday, April 24 at Fleet Feet Chesterfield.
Awards include one dozen roses and a plaque for the top overall male and female finishers; plaques for second and third overall finishers; and medals for age group winners in the following categories: 19 & under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. A Best Kentucky Derby Hat contest is judged by Kiwanis Club members, with gift certificates and red roses awarded to the winner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
