The course starts and finishes on grass and runs on a mixture of grass and tarmac path. The start and finish lines are located on the field behind the Birkenhead sea cadets; the what3words location given for the start is ///blunt.wing.fall.
There is no designated event parking and limited on street parking is available on Ashville Road. There is no blue badge parking or volunteer parking at the site. The closest pedestrian entrance is via Park Road East, about 140 m from the event site. Birkenhead Park train station is a short walk from the venue. Several bus routes stop near Birkenhead Park.
Facilities noted as available include refreshments, toilets, dogs allowed, suitability for pushchairs and wheelchair accessible access. Bag drop, showers and onsite parking are not available. Sunflower wristbands will be available at the enquiries marquee and Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends. QR access to British Sign Language stage content will be provided on site.
