Race for Life Walsall 10k : Walsall Arboretum, 10 May 2026
This event is a Race for Life 10k taking place at Walsall Arboretum. It is open to participants aged 16 and over. Entry fees shown are £17.49 with a children’s rate of £11.00. The minimum fundraising target is £50.00.
The course starts and finishes on grass and follows a mixture of tarmacked paths, woodland trails and grass fields. The 10k comprises two laps of the 5k route. The main field adjacent to the Arboretum car park is the meeting point for start and finish.
Event parking is provided within the Arboretum via the main entrance off Broadway North, with a drop-off point and a short walk of approximately 500 m to the event site. Blue badge parking is available next to the event site on the hard standing car park. The nearest bus stop is Broadway North, about a ten minute walk, and Walsall train station is around 2 miles from the venue. There are no electric vehicle charging points or bike racks at the event.
Facilities listed include refreshments, toilets, areas suitable for pushchairs, and support for wheelchair users where assistance is available. Uneven or undulating sections and a grass field section may require assistance or can be avoided to shorten the route by about 2 km. Sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers aware of dementia needs, and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content are available on site.
