Rhyl 10k

Race for Life Rhyl is organised by Cancer Research UK and takes place at The Arena on The Promenade in Rhyl, LL18 3AQ. The event is for people aged 16 and over and offers both 10k and 5k distances.

The course starts and finishes on hardstanding and is predominantly flat. The route runs entirely on surfaced paths along the seafront promenade. Some sections narrow slightly and, because the event is on the seafront, the course can accumulate sand.

Travel notes list nearby access points and facilities. The closest pedestrian entrance is on East Parade. The nearest bus stop is at The Garden of Remembrance about 200 metres away and Rhyl train station is about a 10 minute walk. The event notes nearby car parks and a blue badge parking location approximately 300 to 500 metres from the site. There are no bike racks listed.

The event is assessed as wheelchair accessible due to the flat route, but sand on the course may affect accessibility in places. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee and Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends. A QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content.

Facilities and participant items include toilets, refreshments, bag drop and showers, a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal on completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
