Race for Life Pretty Muddy London - Clapham Common
The event on Saturday 23 May 2026 is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course at Clapham Common, Windmill Drive, London SW4 9DE. The course includes climbs, crawls and slides and is designed for participants to move at their own pace. Waves start every 15 minutes to manage flow on the course. The minimum age to take part is 13 years. There is a separate Pretty Muddy Kids programme for younger children aged 12 and under.
The start and finish are on gravel football pitches off The Avenue behind Mount Pond. The route surface is a mixture of grass and tarmac paths. Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets and a bag drop. Dogs are not allowed. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and showers are not suitable for pushchairs. Blue Badge parking is available on Windmill Drive or Broomwood Road but there is no general event parking. The nearest train station is Clapham South approximately 0.5 miles away and the nearest bus stop is on Broomwood Road served by route G1. Bike racks are available on the common and near Clapham South station.
A minimum fundraising target is set at £50. Entry prices shown are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and community support, and a Race for Life medal on completion.
