London - Blackheath Pretty Muddy 5k : Sunday 28 June 2026
The event is a charity obstacle run held at Blackheath Common. The course is the Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle route that asks participants to climb, crawl and slide around a mainly grassy route. The start and finish are on grass next to Prince Charles Road. The course winds up and down the heath, crosses some roads that will be closed for safety, and is described as relatively flat throughout.
Entry fees are listed for adults and children and a minimum fundraising target applies. Wave starts are used, with each wave beginning every 15 minutes. Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part in the Pretty Muddy event; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for younger children.
Travel notes include access by train to Blackheath station (about a 10 minute walk) and local buses that stop on Prince Charles Road or Prince or Wales Road. Bike racks are available in Blackheath Village. There is no designated event parking; parking bays on surrounding roads may be suspended.
Available facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs are not suitable. Participants receive event support materials and a Race for Life medal on completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
