Leicester Pretty Muddy 5k
The event is a 5 kilometre obstacle course held at Braunstone Park, Goodings Avenue, Leicester, LE3 1EF on Saturday 16 May 2026. The route is a circular course around the park grounds with a mixture of grass and path; the start and finish are on grass. Participants will climb, crawl and slide around named Pretty Muddy obstacles, with marshals on hand to assist.
Participants must be 13 years of age or older. There is a separate Pretty Muddy Kids offer for children aged 12 and under. Entry prices listed are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children, and the minimum fundraising target is £50.00. Waves are staggered every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course.
The main meeting point is the large field next to Winstanley House. Limited event parking may be available on grass at Braunstone Car Park from Goodings Avenue; availability is weather dependent and attendees are asked to respect local parking restrictions. The nearest train station is Leicester. There is a limited Sunday bus service and multiple pedestrian entrances to the park.
On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets and event parking. Dogs are not allowed. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs and has no showers, bag drop or bike racks. Sunflower wristbands are available and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content.
