Leicester 5k
Race for Life Leicester is a 5k event held on Sunday 12 July 2026 at Victoria Park, Leicester. Entry is available for people aged 16 and over. The listed entry price is £15.99 and a child entry price is £11.00. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 applies.
The start and finish are on the largest grass section of Victoria Park, opposite the sports courts between London Road and Granville Road Car Park. The course runs on a mixture of grass and tarmacked paths and is described as flat mixed terrain. Course details may be subject to change.
Travel information notes limited parking at and around the venue with additional parking options at Leicester University and nearby public car parks. Drop off and blue badge parking are available at Victoria Park Car Park off Granville Road. Bus stops on London Road and Victoria Park Road serve the park and Leicester train station is a short walk away. A bike park is available on site and some electric charging points are listed in nearby public car parks.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and the event is suitable for pushchairs. The course is wheelchair accessible with assistance; wet weather may affect suitability and a shorter course could be offered. Sunflower wristbands and British Sign Language stage content via QR code are provided. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal.
