Race for Life Leicester - Victoria Park 10k
Race for Life Leicester takes place on Sunday 12 July 2026 at Victoria Park, London Road, Leicester LE1 7RY. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK to raise funds for cancer research. The 10k course starts and finishes on grass and follows a mixture of grass and tarmacked paths. The route is described as flat mixed terrain and the 10k is run as a double lap. The main meeting point is the largest grass section of Victoria Park opposite the sports courts between London Road and Granville Road Car Park.
Travel and parking information notes limited parking near the venue, with additional public car parks and Leicester station about a ten minute walk away. Bus stops on London Road and Victoria Park Road are nearby and a bike park is provided on site. Drop offs and blue badge parking are available at Victoria Park Car Park off Granville Road.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed, pushchairs are suitable, and parts of the course are wheelchair accessible with assistance. Bag drop and showers are not available. Event accessibility features include sunflower wristbands, Event Managers trained as Dementia Friends, and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content.
