Dudley 5k at Himley Hall
The Dudley 5k is a Race for Life event taking place on Sunday 05 July 2026 for participants aged 16 and over. The listed entry fee is £15.99 and the minimum fundraising target is £50.00.
The start and finish are on the large grassed area in front of Himley Hall. The course uses a mix of terrain with sections on paths and grass fields. It is described as very flat with one incline and it passes the lake and Himley Hall.
Event parking is available within Himley Hall and drop offs are permitted inside the venue with a traffic light system to manage vehicle flow. Blue badge parking and volunteer parking are available on site. There are no electric vehicle charging points. Public transport is limited; there is an hourly bus from Wolverhampton and Stourbridge that stops near Himley House Hotel, a 10 minute walk to the venue. The nearest train station is Tipton Station, about a 20 minute drive. There are no cycle racks at the event.
Facilities listed for the site include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and the site is suitable for pushchairs. Bag drop and showers are not available and the route is considered unsuitable for wheelchair users due to uneven grass surfaces. Sunflower wristbands and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content will be available, and Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
