Race for Life Cheltenham 5k
The event takes place on Sunday 28 June 2026 at Cheltenham Racecourse, Prestbury Park, GL50 4SH. It is open to people aged 16 and over and has a minimum fundraising target of £50. Entry fees listed are £15.99 for adults and £11.00 for children.
The course is contained within the racecourse. The start and finish are on tarmac in front of the grandstand buildings. The route uses a combination of grass, woodchip and paths. Some grassy sections can become boggy in poor weather. The course is described as wheelchair accessible with assistance because of the grass and woodchip areas, and there are no narrow sections.
Travel and parking information notes free parking at the racecourse with access to the event site via Gate 21, approximately 100 m from the start area. Blue badge parking, volunteer parking and drop off use the same car park. Electric car charging points are available at the racecourse. The nearest train station is Cheltenham, about an hour's walk away. Bike racks are on the B4705, about a five minute walk to the course.
Facilities available include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs and parking. Bag drop and showers are not available. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal on completion.
