Race for Life Bath 10k
The event takes place at Royal Victoria Park in Bath and offers two marked distances:
- 10k: two laps of the 5k route.
- 5k: single lap route used for the 10k.
The start and finish are on grass. The course runs on roads and paved paths with some grass sections within Royal Victoria Park and Royal Crescent. There are mild inclines on some grass sections and a short, reasonably steep hill on Cow Lane. The full 10k course has an overall ascent of 88 m. The majority of the route is on tarmac roads and pathways; wheelchair users may require assistance on steeper sections.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, permission for dogs, suitability for pushchairs, and wheelchair access. Bag drop, showers and event parking are not available on site. There is no designated event car park; the nearest public pay and display car park is Charlotte Street Car Park, a six minute walk from the park. Road closures and suspensions will affect Royal Avenue, Marlborough Lane and nearby streets on the event day.
The organiser sets a minimum fundraising target of £50. Prices listed include £17.49 and a lower price of £11.00. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support resources and a finishers medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
