Race for Life Aberdeen - Seaton Football Pitches
Race for Life Aberdeen takes place at Seaton Football Pitches (Aulton Outdoor Pitches, Aberdeen AB24 1XL). The event offers multiple distances:
- 10k
- 5k
- 3k
The 10k is a double lap of the 5k course. The start and finish are on grass. Most of the course runs on road and is predominantly flat, but the first 1 to 1.5 km is on grass with uneven terrain which may require assistance in wet conditions.
General event parking is provided at Pittodrie Stadium, within a walk of under 15 minutes from the main event area. A designated drop-off point is at the intersection of Golf Road and School Road. Limited blue badge and volunteer parking is available in the Raymond Kelly Pavilion car park. There are no electric vehicle charging points and no bike racks at the site. Pedestrian access is via School Road and Golf Road; a local bus stop (Scatterburn) serves the site.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs, and accessibility for wheelchairs for the majority of the course. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee. A QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content.
