Race for Kids 2025 : Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
Race for Kids is a community running and walking event held in June 2026 at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo (3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, OH 44109). The event offers both in-person and virtual participation options.
In-person options include a 5K run and a 1 Mile walk. In-person registration includes a T-shirt and free entry to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for the day. The 1 Mile walk offers multi-person pricing to register families together.
Virtual options allow participants to complete the same distances from June 16 to June 21 and submit their times online. Virtual registrants receive the Race for Kids T-shirt by mail prior to event week.

An awards ceremony is part of the event and official results will be posted online after the final participant completes their distance. Fundraising is integrated with the event: participants can create personal fundraising pages to collect donations for youth programs.
