Race for a Healthier Tomorrow
Held in Little Rock on October 10, the event includes a USTAF certified 5K and a family walk. The 5K begins at the front steps of the Arkansas State Capitol and winds through downtown, passing Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles) USTAF certified course through downtown.
- Fun Walk (just under 1 mile) Family course from the capitol.
After the race, a Family Fun Zone offers freebies, food and activities. On-site registration will not be available. Participants must register by September 14 to guarantee adult and youth race shirts. The registration fee is $35.
Participants can build or join a team and customize fundraising pages to run in honor or memory of an Arkansas Children’s patient. The event also encourages Mario Kart inspired costumes; dressed-up participants have a chance to win a special prize. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
