Race Against Suicide
The Race Against Suicide is the 2nd annual community event presented by the Missouri Suicide Prevention Network in partnership with the Missouri Behavioral Health Council. It takes place in Jefferson City on September 26, 2026 at the Roy Blunt Center for Healthcare Integration and Innovation Building, 3450 W Edgewood Dr. Race routes use nearby local trails.
Participants may choose between these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
Every registered participant receives a commemorative race medal. This year’s featured swag includes a Carhartt beanie for all racers, and additional race swag is guaranteed for participants registered by September 8, 2026. The event includes community vendors and local organizations offering information and support.
The event is framed around remembrance, support, and suicide prevention awareness. It is presented as a space for people who have been touched by suicide, those supporting someone who is struggling, and organizations working in mental health and prevention.
