Race Across the River - Perryville
Mid America Rehab's Race Across the River is a community fundraising run held in Perryville, Missouri, that links Perry County, Missouri and Randolph County, Illinois. The event offers two entry categories and uses a route that crosses the river via the bridge near Hwy 51.

The course begins on the bridge, follows the Missouri access road toward Hwy 51, returns to the bridge, crosses into Illinois, then returns along Hwy 51 to finish on the bridge. MoDOT and Ames Construction assisted with course measurement and logistics.
Proceeds support local high school athletic programs. To date the event has donated $52,700 to Perryville High School and St. Vincent High School, and this year proceeds will also include Chester High School and other Perry County schools.
