Event Overview
The Race 2 Raise 5K is a fundraising event in support of the Allina Health Cancer Institute - New Ulm. The event is organized by Citizens Bank Minnesota.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026. The start and finish location is at 105 North Minnesota Street in New Ulm, Minnesota.
Course and Logistics
The 5K course uses city streets, sidewalks, and the local Bike Trail System. The race finishes at German Park. Professional chip-timing is provided by Wayzata Results.
Participation and Awards
Both walkers and runners are welcome. Medals are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group.
Registration and Inclusions
Registration is available for adults (18+) and students (ages 6-17). Participation is free for children aged 5 and under, though they do not receive an event t-shirt or race bag. All paid participants who register by April 16, 2026, will receive a technical t-shirt.
The race packet includes a coupon for a free small dish or cone at MN Eis and a coupon for $1.00 off a drink at The Coffee Keller. Additionally, participants can bring their paper bib number to the B&L Bar after the event to redeem for one free beverage, valid only on May 9, 2026.
