Queensborough Tigers 5K Run/Walk
The Queensborough Tigers 5K Run/Walk is an organized community running event hosted at Queensborough Community College in Bayside, New York. The event offers a measured five kilometer course and amenities for registrants.
On-site parking is available in the main lot off 56th Avenue. Registered participants receive a T-shirt. Live timing and results are provided by online, text, and email delivery, and finish line photos and same-day video are available at no cost. Personalized race bibs are offered to those who register at least three weeks in advance.
Awards are presented after the race. Trophies are given to the top male and female overall finishers. Medals are awarded to the top male and female finishers in these age groups: 18 and under, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff on race day; participants must know their bib number to pick up a bib, and a self-lookup area is provided for those who do not. Event proceeds benefit the college athletics program.
