About the race
The Queensborough Tigers 5K Run/Walk is held at Queensborough Community College in Bayside, New York, at 222-05 56th Avenue. The event uses the college grounds and offers on-site parking in the main lot off 56th Avenue.
Event services for registrants include T-shirts for all entrants, live online, text and email results, free finish line photos, and same-day finish line video and pictures. Personalized race numbers are provided for those who register three weeks in advance.
Awards include a trophy for the top overall male and female and medals for the top male and female in the following age groups: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. The event benefits QCC Athletics.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff. Registrants need to know their bib number to pick up a bib; a self lookup area is available for those who do not know their number. If registration occurs within 24 hours of bib pickup, the bib number is texted within approximately 90 seconds or can be retrieved via the bib lookup system.
