Queen Elizabeth Country Park Trail Run (QECP), Hampshire
The event takes place at Queen Elizabeth Country Park on the South Downs near Petersfield in Hampshire. The route uses the park's hard-packed off-road trail network and surrounding countryside within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Runners leave the park to pass through ancient woodland at Head Down before joining the South Downs Way. Routes return via the Milky Way and combine inside the park to explore War Down, where tree-lined gravel tracks and weatherproof paths are used. The course includes a mix of woodland paths, open trails and rolling hills.
Available distances:
- 21.6k Half Marathon 424m elevation gain
- 15.2k Trail 328m elevation gain
- 7.9k Trail 161m elevation gain
Entries are chip timed. Finisher provisions include a high-quality metal medal, a finisher goodie and a refreshing drink, plus a personalised certificate. On-course support comprises water stations, first aid cover and marshals. The event operates a plastic-free rule at water stations so participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle. Parking is charged at £3 per car.
Practical notes: bibs are collected on arrival and should be displayed on the front of the runner; signage on course uses pink arrows and pink tape and hazards are marked with caution signs. One dog is permitted per runner and canicross options are available with guidance for dog care. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
